How it works
How does air conditioning work?
An air conditioner works on the heat-pump principle. The outdoor unit extracts heat from the surrounding air and transfers it inside (when heating) or releases heat outside (when cooling). The whole process is driven by refrigerant circulating between the outdoor and indoor units.
Modern inverter air conditioners continuously regulate compressor output, which makes them quieter and significantly more energy-efficient. Unlike older models, the compressor doesn’t have to switch on and off constantly – it runs at the optimum speed.
Air conditioning is the perfect partner for hot summer days as well as for cool autumn nights, when you don’t want to fire up the central heating but simply lift the room temperature by a few degrees. Both cooling and heating start working almost immediately.

How does an air-conditioning installation work?
Free consultation and site survey
We visit you, inspect the premises and design the optimum solution together. Each project is treated individually based on your needs and the available space.
Quote within 48 hours
Following the survey we prepare a detailed quote, including equipment specifications, materials and installation work.
Professional installation
Installations are carried out by certified technicians. The work covers electrical wiring, refrigerant pipework, condensate drainage and commissioning.
Handover and training
After installation we walk you through how to operate the air conditioner, configure the Wi-Fi connection and hand over the warranty paperwork.
Maintenance & service
Regular servicing extends the lifespan
Just like a car, an air conditioner needs regular maintenance. We recommend a service inspection at least once a year – ideally in spring, before the summer season begins.
A regular service includes cleaning the filters, checking the refrigerant, disinfecting the evaporator and inspecting the wiring. This prevents breakdowns and unpleasant odours and keeps the unit running at peak efficiency.
We also offer service contracts with regular visits, ensuring trouble-free operation throughout the entire lifespan of your air conditioner.
